Ox eye daisy seed packets
(Leucanthemum Vulgare )Sowing - Sow at any time of the year, providing plants are kept well watered. For best results, sow in Spring or early Autumn. To ensure good germination, sow the seed in trays or pots of moist compost and place outside. Transplant the young plants to the desired location. Alternatively, sow in a well raked seed bed and ensure that the soil is fine and crumbly. Scatter the seed, rake lightly and firm down well. Keep well watered and weeded.
Maintenance - Cut back the plants in late September once the seed has fallen. In garden situations wildflowers can be treated as normal bedding plants, but they are hardier.
